Answer: A single copy of the Basic edition of Foxhound is limited to monitoring 10 target databases, and the Extended edition can monitor up to 100 target databases.

If you have many target databases running on different computers, you can use the following techniques to monitor them all:

• Install a separate copy of Foxhound on each computer,

• configure each copy of Foxhound to send Alert emails to one address,

• use different DSN names or GlobalDBId values to identify where the Alert emails are coming from, and

• if desired, use the network server dbsrv11.exe to run Foxhound so that the monitor information for every target database is available over the internet.
